Safety, Security, and Nouveau Negotiations For the Airport Curb

We hope to see you at the AGTA Spring Conference in Reno, NV.

AGTA’s Reno Spring Meeting will involve transportation security experts, operators, and airport officials in presentations and discussions of how landside security, emergency and terrorism programs will need to be developed in this era of predominately TNC curbside traffic. Questions like, “What can an airport legally require of those utilizing its curb as for-hire service providers, whether a TNC company, driver, and vehicle, or airport permittee?"

Additionally, this Spring AGTA meeting in Reno, Nevada will address related topics of labor and alternative fuels in ground transportation. Attendees will be updated on the use of independent contractors by operators, and the principles operators need to follow in order to avoid claims of employee status. Finally, presentations and panels will address alternative fuel use in private ground transportation operations as well as related airport requirements.
