THE CHANGING FACE OF AIRPORT GROUND TRANSPORTATION

The spring meeting will held at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa in Miami Beach, FL on April 19 - 22, 2015. The meeting rate is rate is $149 per night and the rate is good for two days before and after.

Please note the AGTA meeting room block is now full. It may be possible to find discounted rates for The Miami Beach Resort and Spa or nearby hotels through travel sites such as Hipmunk.com, Kayak.com, Hotels.com or the travel site of your choosing.

Airport transportation options for the conference will be included with the meeting agenda.

Planned meeting sessions will address the continuing saga of TNCs and all their implications. In addition, presenters will examine operator/airport issues such as optimal curb placement for the various commercial and courtesy modes, pose the question of what the operator gets for the fees they pay to the airport ­ and should these fees perhaps represent some sort of preferred placement at the curb.

Also of interest is how airports can manage the flow of more pre­arranged pickups vs. taxi and shared ride on­demand service, or even whether charging the private automobile for airport access is part of the industry's future.
